Eligibility Criteria:
  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Chemical Engineering 
  • Thorough knowledge of process safety in relation to chemical reactions and kinetics International experience is preferred
  • Working minimum 3-8 years in industry as a team member Profound experience with simulations, thermodynamics 
  • Intercultural understanding and interpersonal skills for managing internal and external project communication with regional and global stakeholders
Description

Main Tasks:
  • Performing Calorimetric experiments to qualify energy data. For example – DSC, ARSST, ARC, HF cal
  • Providing process safety support for discovery and scale-up campaigns
  • To ensure the maintenance and smooth running of process safety equipment’s to eliminate delays in data generation.
  • Ensure transportation safety of chemical substances by adhering to internal guidelines Proper and adequate reporting to all stakeholders


Problem-solving: – the ability to analyze complex and diverse problem situations creatively leading to the generation and implementation of original solutions
Process engineering support for early phase process research – providing guidance on mixing, phase separations, unit operations, energy balance, BFD’s & supporting pilotation.
Literature and database searching and the ability to collect, collate and interpret complex information.


Add on requirements for experienced candidates 

Familiar with thermodynamic & kinetic simulations related to reaction safety
Familiar with Gaseous and high-pressure reactions from a process safety perspective
